What is a Sponsored Race?

The Lake Run Club has major involvement in a sponsored race. We supply a director or co-director to organize the event. We supply volunteers to help with sponsorship, registration, t-shirts, awards, food, split timers, water stops, publicity, and finish line. We underwrite the profits and losses of the race.  Other races we typically only provide finish line support and course layout.
